This fixture embodies a bright idea of two talented Italian designers working in tandem - Luca De Bona and Dario De Meo. The sundial was the source of inspiration. In ancient times, sundials adorned the facades of buildings, and now it is a creative and graceful wall lamp. The white disc-shaped lampshade serves as a stylized dial, while the metal profile acts as a gnomon emitting light. The magnetic profile like a vector can be moved in any direction on the lampshade screen, creating your own three-dimensional light art object.

This is a deep idea, encapsulated in the laconic geometric shape of the circle. The circle, like the light, is inherent in perfection. It is a sign of the sun, moon and stars, and it is a symbol of infinity, including the endless movement of time.
The versatile white color, simplicity of form, combined with the play of light and shadow, allow this cute wall lamp to be used indoors in a modern premise decorated in minimalist, loft or contemporary style. Ecomalta, a completely environmentally friendly mortar, coats the lamp surface.
This lamp will become an original, shiny accent in the interior of a living room, study, dining room or kid's room.

About Designer
Meridium, designed by the couple De Bona and De Meo, is an illuminating body and a communication tool. The idea was born from the study of Zava’s methodologies and from the constant and mutual comparison between the two points of view of the architect and the designer.
Luca De Bona and Dario De Meo, respectively architect and designer, meet on the path between Milan and the Veneto and start a collaboration that draws inspiration from the journey to produce signs and designs to respond to the needs of the contemporary habitat.
In 2013 they founded the DEBONADEMEO studio in Padua and began to collaborate with prestigious furniture, lighting and decoration companies, dealing with interior design, art direction, concept design and product development. A research in micro and macro scale that re-reads and merges various fields: architecture, design, graphics and art to create innovative environments and objects, but capable of telling stories and inducing emotions.
Their projects, identifiable by the mixture of romantic evocations and industrial references, have appeared in numerous national and international magazines. Parallel to the project activity they both carry out didactic activities in schools and universities of the sector.
