Floor Lamps

The floor lamps become a significant decorative element for every living room. These lamps have different shapes and even functions. However, it’s confirmed that the room with the floor lamp as an additional source of light looks more stylish and elegant. Modern designers from Western Europe and the USA create truly luxurious lamps giving the customer a big choice of styles and shapes. They are lamps in the most popular styles such as the Contemporary or Classic ones but also in some very uncommon among which there are Rustic, Venetian, Art Deco, Baroque, and others.

Floor lamps with a contemporary touch

The contemporary style can’t be defined as easy as any other. On one hand, it has all features of the minimalist stream. On the other hand, it’s almost Baroque style. Some other, such as Tom Rossau, Pallucco or Fambuena impresses with completely unexpected solutions for the floor lamps making them of metal with a black finish and decorated with satin ribbon like designers from Fambuena do or creating a classic shape of the lampshade but made of glass as the brand Alma Light suggests.

The uniqueness of classic lamps

While most people imagine that chandeliers in classic style may be impressive, the designers prove the floor lamps do not take the second role. The Italian designers-magicians from Italamp brand create the collections where the floor and ceiling lamps have the same elements for decoration, the same base, and shape. For example, their collections Lenoir or Prezioso where floor lamps contain up to 10 lights in traditional bulbs with the lampshade painted in aristocratic colors like royal blue, raso-brown, iron-grey or chrome.  Glass and Glass Murano do the same adding their chandeliers in style a-la jelly-fish with the same look of the floor lamps.

The industrial style of the lamps

Industrial and Urban as one is another style that attracts the most attention. There are several European designers who are considered to be experts in it. The first is Moretti Luce whose floor lamps remind the lanterns seen on the streets at the beginning of the previous century. They have nothing to do with retro style. However, this Italian manufacturer adds a retro touch to its ultra-modern designs with the help of the finish for the lampshade in different shades of brass.

One of the most uncommon designers in the luxury category is Zava from Italy. Their floor lamps remind the electric cable with red lines (or any other of 9 options for the color), the book-case and several layer shelf colored in black, white or turquoise, or the floodlight. Their imagination is unpredictable which is a great benefit for everyone who dreams of the unique lamp at home.
