Josepha came to the world of sculpture thanks to her husband whose profession was a famous sculptor the moment they met. To be different from the rest of the world and find her own handwriting and concept, Josepha decided to use the old way of working with wax. It’s already more than 2.500 y.o. and rarely used as it’s considered to be a lost one. She creates a clay mold first. Then it’s time to work with the metal. If it’s bronze, it must go through several stages: pouring, cooling and polishing. Finally, it’s time to color the sculpture which Josepha does by hand and then burnish the ready item to reach the classic effect of bronze or patina.
