About Manufacturer

Verpan furniture and lighting company is named after one of the most famous Danish designers Werner Panton. He studied with Arne Jacobsen, created lamps together with Louis Poulsen, organized his own studio in 1955 and at the beginning of his career developed a series of modern style lamps representing the personalities of his contemporaries.
Many Verpan luminaire models are very similar to Louis Poulsen's lamps - but there are some significant differences that make the brand unique. Firstly, it is desire for color. Albeit not as full of life as the lamps of the Mediterranean style, but bright and memorable. Secondly, it is an attempt to go beyond standard Scandinavian idealism and make abstract art an absurd art.
Werner Panton style in fixtures
In the geometric absurdism of Werner Panton's models, you can see a subtle mockery of the forms brought to impeccable perfection. Social requirements that dominate the personality make us not really exist. Probably, the author wanted to say this when creating Onion, Ufo and VP Globe models. Compromises to the detriment of their own nature make it impossible to move up the spiral of development, as shown in the Spiral model, sparkling with red and asphalt-gray nylon of intricate clusters.
Spiral elements are quite common in Panton's models, either in the form of frames similar to springs, or scattered rings on thin threads or in wave-like curls of a lamp similar to an inverted bowling pin. Another stylistic theme is shell disks in the form of coins from women's beads, in monochrome or classic pearl colors.
Varieties of Panton Lamps
The company’s catalog contains a multitude of individual and composable lamps made of metal, plastic, transparent glass, shell disks and other materials that form an ice-cream game of abstractionism and absurdism in Verpan models. Table, pendant, ceiling and wall lamps of the brand are images that an ordinary person makes sense to think simply - because you haven’t found something easier yet.
Verpan pendant lights are made of acrylic and metal with white glass reflectors, shell on a variety of thin threads that make the lamp look like glowing rain. Fun pendant lamp on a sparkling metal cord is similar to Saturn's rings surrounded by pearl-ash nebulae that flash with the distant light of the cold Sun among the haze of alien clouds.
Spiral Gold pendant lamp with one, two or three clusters successfully competes for the attention of customers with the Spiral Multicolor lamp from the same model range, in red and violet colors - like a human heart in its various manifestations and life situations.
In this regard, Pantop pendant lamp, made as a bell of impeccable shape, is one of three color variations for layout or single placement. Nevertheless, the arrangement of three or more Pantop copper luminaires at different heights from the surface was recognized as the most successful. A set of multicolor bells, similar to someone's forgotten hats, is the dream of an idealist tired of the abstract research of the absurd.
Panton table lamps
Table-type Panton lamps are bedside lanterns or lamps with a copper painted shade and durable metal stands on aluminum or stainless steel poles. Onion-shaped and pin-shaped models are adjacent to lamps in the form of the moon or a tightly sealed box. Astronomy is one of the special interests of the brand, therefore space forms are so often found in their assortment.
In the Panton table lamp, the passage of time is just as elusive as in the Japanese tercets. Panton models are ideally technological in attracting customers not only from Europe, but also from Asian countries, striving for new peaks of economic development in the modern world. This is probably why the Pantop table lamp in the shape of a virtual bell is so perfectly in harmony with the Ball pendant lamp, assembled from many sparkling metal balls.
Panton Wall & Floor Lamps
Panton lamps of wall and floor type, most often, continue the lineup of fixtures of the same design, but with a different type of installation - suspended, ceiling-mounted, table. External sameness creates the impression of harmony. The differences are minimal for the opportunity to realize them and save time on the selection of interior elements.
However, there is no need to put together exactly the same Panton lamps. Each of them is in stylistic harmony with the lamps of other lineups, which means that you can form your own interior concept from what is presented in our store.
Panton products fit not only into the Scandinavian interior, but also into the environment created based on the motives of other countries, regions, historical eras and technological approaches to modern architecture. Werner Panton lamps are placed not only in houses and apartments, but also in hotels, studios, cafes, restaurants and a high-tech patio.
