What we love about CANDLE is that it denotes well-being, relaxation, tranquility. A room lit by a dim candlelight is always romantic, and the light and shade effect provides a warm and serene atmosphere. Likewise, CANDLE -whose intensity of light can be regulated to an almost imperceptible minimum- contributes to that sensual and distended touch to any bedroom, to a shelf, a room or a space destined to rest or practice activities such as meditation or Yoga.
CANDLE is small -it measures 35 cm in height- and it works with LED technology (6W Edison SMD with a maximum intensity of 520 lumens and a warm temperature of 3000K). The light is diffused through the opal triplex crystal cylinder. The regulation is obtained by gently pressing the switch-regulator located at the base of the luminaire.

About Designer
Cristian Cubiñá
(Barcelona, 1968)
He studied Industrial Design at the ELISAVA School (University School of Design and Engineering) in Barcelona and once he finished his training he decided to create his own business project, founding the family company “Hustadt Iluminación”.
During the first few years he assumed the responsibilities of Product Manager. In 2003, when the company created the ALMA LIGHT brand, he took on broader areas such as product design, selection of local suppliers and control of manufacturing and its highest quality standards, always with an eye on the continuous evolution of the market, both in terms of design and in purely technological and productive aspects.
It is in the ALMA LIGHT project where Cristian Cubiñá can develop his design skills, designing the stands for the fairs that the company attends as an exhibitor, and creating classic collections such as DROP or LENS. Later, he would create other products, such as the CANDLE, CAPSULE, DECO, HOTEL, KONE, LED BOX, LED OVAL, LED POLE, THE LIGHT and THE PALM families. His designs are imbued with his curious and observant character and his desire to notice everything he sees around him, where any detail can be converted into a light fixture.
Cristian Cubiñá is one of the most renowned designers in the field of contemporary decorative lighting, a sector in which he specialises. His creations have been exhibited at various European fairs and have been selected for various international design publications.
