Product details
Stone and light, two opposing elements that Parga unites in the search for an almost fictional image. The energy contained within a mineral seeks to be released and radiate out in an intense beam of direct light. Parga is a collection that goes back to using granite for functional and decorative in indoor spaces, taking advantage of its neutral color palette and natural texture. This lamp is made from three pieces of different heights and diameters, each with a formal language reminiscent of the most primitive and rudimentary stone carvings. The material used is discarded pieces of granite mined from Galician quarries, making for a more sustainable use of materials. The granite forming Parga is compact, light gray in color and uniform with specks of black and fine grain.

Сenlitrosmetrocadrado is a Galician design and communication studio made up of designers Ricardo Tubío and Xabier Rilo. The studio was founded in 2006 with the intention of offering a design with a clear humanist orientation, which goes beyond the simple practical function and also addresses functions of an emotional and social nature. With a marked Atlantic identity, it develops projects ranging from product design, graphics and spatial design. The transversality, the relationship with the territory and the use of design as a strategic tool beyond the formal are, without a doubt, the most differentiating features.
The studio has been awarded various prizes and recognitions both in graphics and in the industrial field of product and space design. Some of the most relevant are the Laus de Plata 2016, Best Industrial Design Award at the Paraguas Awards 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021, third prize at the International Bolia Design Awards 2019, Longlist at the Dezeen Awards, Innovation and Design Award 2020 of the Xunta de Galicia and mention at the BID20 Awards of the Ibero-American Design Biennial.
