About Designer
Paolo Ulian, born in 1961 in Massa-Carrara, Italy, is an industrial designer known for his innovative and artistic approach. After studying painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara, he earned a diploma in industrial design from I.S.I.A. Florence in 1990. He worked with Enzo Mari before founding his own studio with his brother Giuseppe.
Ulian gained international recognition after winning the Design Report Award at Salone Satellite 2000. Over the years, he has collaborated with renowned brands such as Driade, Fontana Arte, Droog Design, Luminara, and Azzurra Ceramiche, creating thoughtful and experimental designs that blend functionality with artistic expression.
