PULSA SPIRA is the new suspension designed by Danilo De Rossi, inspired by the seeds from the maple tree. A light sculpture meant for being the main character of elegant and refined spaces, providing a unique game of shadows and light effects all arround it.
Pendant composition with shaded white artistic blown glass. Metal structure with iron grey finish.

Italamp presents Pulsa Spira designed by Danilo De Rossi, an important suspension that represents in the form of light the twirling of a maple seed through the air, articulated thanks to a composition of blown glass elements arranged in a spiral. The composition can be customized to develop the helix shape in height. Pulsa spira combines an extremely contemporary design with the historical heritage of glass processing and is the latest addition to the existing Pulsa collection.

DANILO DE ROSSI
He has been practising as an architect and designer in Venice since the 1980s, and the lagoon contiguity developed an ever-increasing affinity with the artistic production of glass and thus of decorative lighting He soon earned a master's degree in lighting design at the Milan Polytechnic, which propelled him into the role of interpreter of contemporary lighting design, in glass, characterising the Creative Direction for LEUCOS 1996/2015 and De Majo Murano since 1994. In 2016 he began his collaboration with ITALAMP where he serves as Art Director. For the same companies he designs lamp collections that earn him significant international awards such as Good Design Award - Chicago, Best Booth Design - Las Vegas, Wallpaper Design - UK and IDA Award - Los Angeles. Furniture, lighting and objects form the professional background that he transfers to teaching Product and Lighting at the Raffles Institute of Fashion and Design in Milan.
