In the past entire walls in important houses used to be covered with bookcases with long shelves inside. This idea has inspired Morelato to develop the Direttorio modular bookcases which are a revision of the library or study. The classical inspiration of the line is particularly suitable for this bookcase which with its vertical groove on the frame gives a geometric order to the items, giving order to an element containing different objects. Besides the regular production in this line, Morelato is able to produce also items made to measure in order to cover entire walls. In this way a room obtains a specific elegance.
Proposal for Direttorio modular bookcase made of cherry wood. 3 central elements with glass and wooden hinged doors; 3 upper glass doors elements. Adjustable shelves on wooden support.

Opera all’interno dell’azienda sotto la direzione di Giorgio Morelato, con la collaborazione di diverse figure di progettisti e tecnici del legno. Sviluppa costantemente un accurato lavoro di indagine sulle tecniche costruttive del mobile, studia la reinterpretazione degli stili e dei modelli classici rendendoli funzionali alle esigenze dell’arredo domestico e degli spazi collettivi contemporanei, collabora con i designer per la definizione e l’ingegnerizzazione dei nuovi progetti e si occupa di “progettazioni sartoriali” su richiesta del cliente.
