About Designer
Paramount III - Sconce Designer: Doyle Crosby Doyle Crosby is the Director of Design at Boyd Lighting based in San Francisco. Doyle began his career at Boyd Lighting more than 25 years ago as a draftsman, rapidly moved into the role of Designer, then Co-Director of Design and finally into his current position. Doyle has earned many awards for his innovative Boyd Lighting designs, most recently the ADEX 2007 Gold Award for the Globe Pendant. He has received numerous other design awards in his career including two ASID, three GOOD DESIGN awards from the Chicago Athenaeum and four Roscoe awards. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies both from Lone Mountain College in San Francisco. Doyle continued his education at San Francisco State University in industrial design, which ultimately launched him into a staff position at Boyd Lighting.
