How to Choose a Lantern Light

Before ordering, check the width, body height and total suspension drop. A medium-sized lantern may suit an entrance hall or dining area, while a larger lantern chandelier requires sufficient ceiling height and surrounding space. For staircases and double-height interiors, also consider how the fitting will appear from different viewing levels.

The number of light sources affects both brightness and visual impact. Depending on the model, lantern lights may use replaceable E14 or E27 bulbs, including compatible LED lamps. Review the lamp holder, permitted wattage, dimming compatibility and included or excluded light source on the individual product page. For installation in Austria, confirm that the selected configuration is suitable for a 220–240 V electrical supply.
