The splendour, the colours and the richness typical of the Venice of the XVIIIth still live again in collection of blown glass chandelier Villa Medici. As in the XVIIIth production, the peculiar characteristics of this collection are the complex handcrafted decorations. The structure is embellished with flowers and leaves, as it is typical of the Ca’ Rezzonico style.
One of the peculiar characteristic of Villa Medici is its elliptical shape, which is called “barchetta” or “gondola”, the arms are of various lenghts. The two longest arms have been embellished with a specific decoration called “trionfi”, and at the centre of them there are some additional lights.
A monumental chandelier, a peculiar decoration that do not lose its magnificence when placed in large spaces or when placed together with peculiar furniture.
This chandelier has different number of lights:
- 10 lights (cm.: 110 x 160 x 110 / inch.: 43.30" x 62.99" x 43.30").
- 18 lights (cm.: 135 x 180 x 125 / inch.: 53.15" x 70.86" x 49.21").
Energy efficiency classes A++ to E.
International Protection - IP 20.
The “CE“ mark required by the European Community with the 93/98/CEE directive states that the luminaire complies with the European technical requirements. Luminaire in which protection against electric shock does not rely on basic insulation only, but which are provided for the connection of accessible conductive parts to protective conductor in the fixed wiring of the installation.
