Small table with a square base: pure and essential aesthetics with a variety of combinations of materials. A small table that carries out a precise function – it provides a large area to hold objects – and also takes on a highly decorative role. Lord has a base that makes it look as if it were floating in mid-air.The external band can be in glossy or matt metal or covered with quilted leather. The centre of the top has a functional compartment in mirror finish to set magazines or other objects.The complex manufacturing process demonstrates the use of a metal exterior with an internal structure covered in wood or leather, which adds a hint of warmth and underscores the intrinsic value of the Lord table.
