The chalet is situated in Piesendorf-Walchen at an altitude of 900 metres, not far from the popular resorts Zell-am-See and Kaprun as well as at a 40 km distance from Kitzbühel. From Munich and Salzburg the travel time by car is somewhat above one hour.
The chalet was built in 1975, having been renovated again in 2008, which lead to the first and second floors being augmented and a covered terrace featuring a grill and heating to be added. To the spacious garage came a sauna and wine cellar. From the two-car garage there is a broad, covered staircase leading directly to the house. Right next to the entrance to the chalet there is a large, open terrace as well as a summer house. The covered terrace with grill and heating is connected to the house by a sliding door made of glass. Entering through a remarkable door made out of oak and glass, one discovers a bright, spacious hall area, which includes its own wardrobe, room for washing machines and a shower for pets, along with a toilet for guests.
The first floor is comprised of a homey fireplace room as well as a palour, including a dining area and traditional furnace, in addition to an open kitchen area with first class equipment by GAGGENAU, which are all connected to a breathtaking living room offering an unforgettable panorama view at alpine pastures and mountains through an extensive glass facade. High-quality, traditionally used wood types such as arolla pine and oak create an atmosphere of comfort and naturalness. Every detail of the interior bears witness to the high quality of the materials used and the craftsmanship by real masters. Individual furniture pieces and lighting from the USA and France by brands like Ralph Lauren and Roche Bobois next to masterfully completed works by Austrian cabinetmakers complete the interior design and give it a mark of luxury. The artistic carving on the staircases and wooden ceiling beams, the natural materials, wonderful doors, glass facades and convenient exits – they all please the eye and are easy to use.
The windows, which are built into the roof, as well as the glass facade, give a lot of natural light to the wooden staircase leading to the second floor. On the second floor one can find three bedrooms. The largest bedroom includes a king-size bed, a built-in wardrobe, a dressing table and access to a balcony offering a stunning panorama view. Adjoining it is a luxury class wellness area: There one wil discover a built-in cupboard with three doors, two sinks with luxury fittings built into a marble panel, a 180 cm Jacuzzi-bathtub for two with massage function, a shower with steam bath and massage, a sauna and also a separate room with a toilet – all of which is in natural marble, massive arolla pine and combined with a glass facade enabling to view a breathtaking landscape.
The second bedroom contains another king-size bed, two divided built-in wardrobes, a dressing table/desk and a balcony with panoramic view. In the third bedroom one can find a singe bed, a built-in closet and a dressing table or desk. The third and second bedroom share a common wellness area featuring a toilet (there are two sinks in a granite plate, a bathtub, a shower with steam bath and massage function, among others).
The large garden, which covers a surface area of 1768 m², has a well-cared for lawn, grown trees, a specially covered sports area with a basketball basket, table tennis, two open terraces and a covered terrace with grill, heating and panorama view.
From the garden one can directly access the ski slope "Naglköpfl" - a wonderful ski slope for skiing and sleigh riding, guaranteeing fun and entertainment for both adults and children alike.
