This Baccarat crystal ceiling lamp is available in three colors, with nuances that glimmer whether or not the lamp is illuminated. Its tulip shape enhances the light-scattering properties of the Mille Nuits form. The silhouette gradually fans out, as though blossoming from the suspended tubing. Easily integrated into any interior, the light scintillates magnificently. The amber lamp has brown and yellow undertones; the red lamp, Baccarat’s signature hue, has blue and purple undertones. The Mille Nuits gold lamp has a specially- applied metallic sheen. Designed by Mathias for Baccarat, Mille Nuits is a reference to the 1001 Tales of The Arabian Nights. The Mille Nuits collection includes other lighting fixtures (candelabras, chandeliers), and bar and tableware (tumblers and plates).

From an "Encounter" to a love story. Between Baccarat and Mathias, it all started in 1996 with a collection of exceptional limited-edition pieces. A poet and a charmer, Mathias quickly developed a relationship of trust with the craftsmen of the Manufacture. A self-taught and eclectic designer, to him "nothing is impossible for Baccarat" and, through his creations, glassmakers, cutters, engravers, gilders and enamellers deploy all their talent. Driven by this same quest for excellence and innovation, in 1999 he signed the first Mille Nuits chandeliers, a name that is now emblematic of the Baccarat art de vivre.
