Delphi 18″ Square Semi-Flush Mount - Designed by WOOGMASTER STUDIO
Inspired by the myths and legends of the ancient Oracle of Delphi, this semi flush features hand blown glass and is set within a silhouette whose form above all emphasizes purity. Available in silver leaf, gold leaf and hand rubbed black iron with gold leaf interiors.

Fine Art Handcrafted Lighting company about the collection of DELPHI - Designed by WOOGMASTER STUDIO:
When Alex Woogmaster began working on designing the Delphi collection, he wanted to arrive at a design that felt clean, timeless and true. The collection is inspired by the myths and legends of the ancient Oracle of Delphi, and each piece needed to have an almost mystical quality, glowing from an almost primitively classical basin silhouette—made of hand formed or blown glass—set within a silhouette whose form above all, emphasizes purity. There is something deeply peaceful and reassuring to Alex about the concept of knowledge, and while these fixtures don’t necessarily reveal truths, we hope that the light they shed can, metaphorically speaking, help bring the light of truth into our lives. At the very least, these fixtures are meant to bring a contemplative serenity and clarity to our world.

About Designer
ALEX WOOGMASTER
Alex trained as an architect at Cornell University, where he was challenged to master modern design thinking while nurturing his lifelong passion for historic design. Time spent living in Rome further fueled his desire to understand the nature of majestic architecture, and led him to Las Vegas, where he is creative director at the award-winning design company of Wynn Resorts. Alex is captivated by the effects that the built environment have upon the individual, and continues to devote great attention to the study of architectural and design masterpieces. His designs are rooted in nostalgia and reflect his passion for contemporary design as understood through historic senses of proportion, discipline, and drama.
