About Designer
PAOLO DE LUCCHI
Paolo De Lucchi graduated in architecture from the Milan Polytechnic in 1989. After 8 years at the studio Sottsass Associati and Michele De Lucchi srl in Milan, on January 1st 1998 he opened "delucchiworkshop.com" in Padua, inside a small industrial building. In addition to his work as an architect, he collaborates as a designer with important Italian companies in the lighting sector. Through these collaborations he has developed a deep knowledge related to new technologies and light management in different application areas: from the residential world to the world of offices and shops. He holds training courses at universities and professional institutes. The architect has collaborated with important companies in the design of franchising stores, showrooms, stands and multi-brand stores in the clothing, footwear and leather goods sectors.
VALERIO BOTTIN
Arch. Valerio Bottin, graduated in Architecture in Venice in 1991. In 1993 he began his collaboration with Foscarini, designing lighting fixtures such as Sphera, Mistral, Tutù, Totem, Duble, Bubble, Vitt, Affix, Cross, and later designing objects made of injection molding. In 1995 he began working with Prandina, designing lighting fixtures and following personally, for some, the research of new materials and technologies. Since 2004 he has been designing seats for the company AllKit-Softline in Udine, creating objects in rotomulding plastic material. Still in the field of furniture components, in 2006 he began working with MYYour, designing seats in thermoforming and metal. Since 2008 with the company Panzeri, he began the production of lighting objects in glass of his own design. Since 2011 he has been collaborating with the Department of Electronic Engineering of the University of Padua on the study and use of led and oled lighting for mass production.
