The Murano blown glass suspension Galactic has been designed with the aim of subverting the tradition and re-think of new decorative lighting solution. This lighting work is composed by irregular and asymmetric elements, but overall, it is characterized by an harmonic design. The result is a unique and spectacular suspension lamp, that can be inserted in various settings.

This lighting creation consists of a series of tubular elements in hand-blown glass which are exclusively handmade by skilled glass masters; the technique which has been used to decorate the surface of these elements is called rigamenà (a typical Venetian production technique which allows to create thin ribs on the surface of glass).

Galactic is proposed in a version made using many different golden shades: the glass part is made by melting gold leaf inside the vitreous mass, while the metallic band which contains all the glass elements is in brushed gold. Each detail has been done with accuracy, and the finishing effects makes the whole lighting works dynamic and vibrant.

The suspension lamp is hanged on the ceiling with adjustable cables, that allows to adjust the height and also the incline.

The “CE“ mark required by the European Community with the 93/98/CEE directive states that the luminaire complies with the European technical requirements. Luminaire in which protection against electric shock does not rely on basic insulation only, but which are provided for the connection of accessible conductive parts to protective conductor in the fixed wiring of the installation.
