The Muna small suspension lamp represents the artistic transposition of the planet. The technique used, white blown glass with crystal fragments created a magical resemblance to the lunar surface. The sphere is below the dome in transparent striped , on which is painted the hidden face of the moon in midnight blue. 2023 year - Italamp presents the new gold finish that meets the essential and elegant design of the iconic collection in the catalogue. Muna is a pendant lamp designed by Danilo De Rossi that was born from the fusion of white glass and crystal, obtaining a "poriferous" surface with a strong textured look. A further cover is made with borosilicate glass, originally born in shaded midnight blue now available in shaded gold that evokes the starry night and enriches the environment. Muna Lamp structure: a white blown glass sphere and a borosilicate glass cover that encases it. The sphere has an irregular poriferous surface, featuring a series of micro-craters that evoke the shape of the moon. This effect is further enhanced in the Muna version, where the cover has an upper cap painted in blue, which appears to fade downwards, giving the lamp its magnetic and lunar appeal.

About Designer
DANILO DE ROSSI
He has been practising as an architect and designer in Venice since the 1980s, and the lagoon contiguity developed an ever-increasing affinity with the artistic production of glass and thus of decorative lighting He soon earned a master's degree in lighting design at the Milan Polytechnic, which propelled him into the role of interpreter of contemporary lighting design, in glass, characterising the Creative Direction for LEUCOS 1996/2015 and De Majo Murano since 1994. In 2016 he began his collaboration with ITALAMP where he serves as Art Director. For the same companies he designs lamp collections that earn him significant international awards such as Good Design Award - Chicago, Best Booth Design - Las Vegas, Wallpaper Design - UK and IDA Award - Los Angeles. Furniture, lighting and objects form the professional background that he transfers to teaching Product and Lighting at the Raffles Institute of Fashion and Design in Milan.
