Aiardini Milano – Italian Lighting for the USA
Aiardini Milano brings contemporary Italian design and atelier craftsmanship to American interiors. Made in Italy with careful proportions, premium materials and hand-finished details, these luminaires deliver warm, comfortable light for homes, boutique hospitality and retail spaces across the United States.
Rooted in Milan’s design culture, Aiardini balances refined minimalism with softly decorative forms. The portfolio spans pendants & suspensions, chandeliers, wall lights & sconces, ceiling fixtures, and table & floor lamps—allowing layered lighting plans from entry to living areas, bedrooms and suites.
Collections suit coastal homes, brownstones, ranch properties and boutique hotels from New York and Chicago to Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas and beyond. Use single pendants over side tables, linear suspensions above kitchen islands, paired sconces for mirrors/artwork, and coordinated families to keep a cohesive aesthetic throughout the project.
Aiardini works with brushed/lacquered brass and steel, mouth-blown glass (clear, opal, tinted), fine textiles for shades and select stone/ceramic accents. Precision joints, discreet fixings and balanced optics ensure durability and visual comfort. Weighted bases and felt pads protect furniture and finishes where applicable.
Signature finishes include warm brass, satin nickel, matte black/white and tinted metals paired with glass diffusers. Bespoke colors and shade fabrics are available to match American interior palettes; samples can be supplied for approval.
Most luminaires accept U.S. retrofit LEDs—typically E12 (candelabra) or E26—or feature integrated LED modules (model-dependent). Standard supply for the United States is 100–120 V / 60 Hz. Recommended color temperatures: 2700–3000 K for living/dining ambience and 3000–3500 K for kitchens and circulation. Dimming options include TRIAC/ELV and, where applicable, 0–10 V / DALI drivers (check per model).
For chandeliers above dining tables, target a diameter around ½–⅔ of table width and hang the lowest point 28–33 in above the tabletop. For pendants over islands, keep 30–36 in above the counter and maintain sightlines. Corridor and stair headroom should be ≥ 84 in. Canopy/backplate sizes, fixture weights and mounting guidance are available on request.
We assist with lumen targets by room type, diffuser choices for low glare, shade sizes, finish coordination across multi-room projects and integration with control systems. Photometric files, detailed drawings and submittal packs can be provided for design teams.
