All Boyd products have been tested and found in compliance by Underwriters Laboratory (UL) or an equivalent nationally recognized testing laboratory. Damp location fixtures are suitable for installation in: interior locations protected from weather but subject to moderate degrees of moisture, such as bathrooms; or protected locations under canopies, marquees and roofed open porches. Wet location fixtures are suitable for installation where the fixture is subject to saturation with water or other liquids, or where the fixture is mounted in an unprotected location and directly subjected to the weather.

About Designer
Mercury I Chandelier (8 arm) The elegant styling of the Mercury is available as in 8-arm or 12-arm chandelier. Ideal for residential and hospitality spaces. Designer: Doyle Crosby Doyle Crosby is the Director of Design at Boyd Lighting based in San Francisco. Doyle began his career at Boyd Lighting more than 25 years ago as a draftsman, rapidly moved into the role of Designer, then Co-Director of Design and finally into his current position. Doyle has earned many awards for his innovative Boyd Lighting designs, most recently the ADEX 2007 Gold Award for the Globe Pendant. He has received numerous other design awards in his career including two ASID, three GOOD DESIGN awards from the Chicago Athenaeum and four Roscoe awards. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies both from Lone Mountain College in San Francisco. Doyle continued his education at San Francisco State University in industrial design, which ultimately launched him into a staff position at Boyd Lighting.
