THEPALM is a beautiful reversal of a classic chandelier, now with a design of soft, rounded shapes that remind us of a palm tree.
About THEPALM we love the softness of its curved shapes, its combination of 'vintage' reminiscences with a contemporary air, its showy but at the same time serene and very modern appearance. It is designed to be mounted with the arms facing up or facing down. We find this versatility especially interesting when creating combinations of luminaires for atriums or large spaces, where one can not only play with the sizes but also with the position of the fixture’s arms. THEPALM is ideal for residential, hotel and commercial projects and, in general, for any space that requires an original and striking chandelier that provides beauty, luminosity and a look of soft shapes.
THEPALM comes in three sizes: 12 arms, 18 arms and 30 arms. The structures are made of iron with a gold or nickel finish by electrolytic bath, or textured white or black paint. At the end of each arm there is a Led Seoul 2700K CRI>80 (totals: 12 arms: 22.9W 1889lm / 18 arms: 34.34W 2833lm / 30 arms: 57.24W 4723lm) that illuminates a solid sandblasted methacrylate diffuser, producing a pleasant filtered light that does not dazzle. The drivers are housed inside the central cylinder. The THEPALM collection is not dimmable, but it can be requested in a dimmable version (please, check price) if so required.

About Designer
Cristian Cubiñá
(Barcelona, 1968)
He studied Industrial Design at the ELISAVA School (University School of Design and Engineering) in Barcelona and once he finished his training he decided to create his own business project, founding the family company “Hustadt Iluminación”.
During the first few years he took on the responsibilities of Product Manager. In 2003, when the company created the ALMA LIGHT brand, it took on broader areas such as product design, selection of local suppliers and control of manufacturing and its highest quality standards, always with an eye on the continuous evolution of the market, both in terms of design and in purely technological and productive aspects.
It is in the ALMA LIGHT project where Cristian Cubiñá can develop his design skills, designing the stands of the fairs where the company attends as an exhibitor, and creating classic collections such as DROP or LENS. Later he will sign other creations, such as the CANDLE, CAPSULE, DECO, HOTEL, KONE, LED BOX, LED OVAL, LED POLE, THE LIGHT and THE PALM families. His designs are imbued with his curious and observant nature and his desire to notice everything he sees around him, where any detail can be susceptible to becoming a light fixture.
Cristian Cubiñá is one of the most renowned designers in the field of contemporary decorative lighting, a sector in which he specialises. His creations have been exhibited at various European fairs and have been selected for various international design publications.
