About Designer
Vicent Aleixandre, born in Valencia (1985), studied at the School of Art and Design in Valencia (2006), specialising in Product. Motivated by design aimed at people with disabilities, he created Braïlo (2011), a game for the blind based on Braille, with which he won the first prize in the “Create Your Toy” category in the “Innovative Toy” category, organised by the School of Design Engineering of the UPV.
He worked for a time at Térmigo Microclimas (2012), developing aspects of communication and new product designs focused on outdoor use, for hospitality and events. He was part of the first class of the “Official Master in Creativity and Product Development” (2012) taught at the EASD Valencia, where he had the opportunity to work at Profiltek, an important company making custom-made screens, within the technical office. His final master's project, focused on solving a problem both in design and logistics, was accepted by the company and studied for his incorporation later.
He currently works within Minimal Luxury, a studio focused mainly on lighting spaces and adapting them to the demands of its clients, where he acts as a designer and technical office. Defined as a multidisciplinary, methodical and tireless person, he sees design as a way of making his ideas flow into the world around him.
