Light Sources, Voltage & Dimming (UK)
Most luminaires accept European retrofit lamps—typically E14/E27 LED. Standard supply is 220–230 V / 50 Hz. Warm-white 2700–3000 K suits dining and lounges; neutral whites support task and wayfinding. Where specified, integrated LED variants (model-dependent) can support leading/trailing-edge dimming and, where applicable, 0–10 V / DALI. Typical indoor protection is IP20; outdoor ratings vary by product.
Sizing, Heights & Practical Guidance
For chandeliers over tables, choose a diameter around ½–⅔ of table width and hang the lowest point 70–85 cm above the tabletop. Maintain corridor/stair headroom of ≥ 210 cm. We provide canopy/backplate sizes, fixture weights, fixing advice and IP selection for outdoor areas.
