The Glu wall lamp, in matt white metal, creates a warm intimate atmosphere thanks to its curvy shape that allows the light to be indirectly diffused on the wall, creating a pleasant effect. The LED is integrated to ensure durability, eco-sustainability and efficient lighting.

The inspiration for Glu, designed by Pellegrini+Mengato Design, came from the rotation of a satellite around a planet, a dynamic element in continuous movement, trying to escape from its orbit, but never breaking away from this this bond.
The geometrical shape is defined not so much by the full part but by the central emptiness, created by the laser cut of the thin disk which gives Glu its particular shape and light effect, making it lightweight and balanced. The indirect light produced further emphasises the contrast between emptiness ad fullness and creates interesting light and shadow effects.
The collection is made up of one hanging lamp and one wall lamp, both for indoor use. The main structure is in matt white painted aluminium. The lamp runs on mains power and is suitable for use with LED bulbs.

About Designer
Pellegrini&Mengato Design
David Pellegrini
(1977) Having obtained a degree in architecture from the IUAV in Venice, Pellegrini works in the design, architectural and interior design fields. He works with several architectural and engineering studios on various sizes of architectural and urban development projects. Over the years, he continues to perform independent research on architectural and urban development design, focusing closely on the theme of sustainability, thanks to the experience gained in various national and international contests. He experiments with the use of materials, including wood, cardboard, metal mesh, plastic elements etc. and develops the relative processing techniques by creating prototypes for everyday use. He constantly partners architect Francesca Mengato in the development of design projects.
Francesca Mengato
(1981) Having graduated in architecture from the IUAV in Venice in 2006, she immediately begins working with various design studios and contemporaneously as a freelance designer. She works on a permanent basis with Studio Valente Architetti, on architectural, executive and indoor furniture design projects. She combines her architectural vocation with a passion for web marketing, specialising in this field and applying it to her work as a designer. Her excellent relationships with small businesses and larger companies and her passion for design lead her to form a working partnership with architect David Pellegrini. Together they develop a range of different ideas and prototypes, ranging from design to the fields of graphics, architecture and interiors.
