Petit is a study in balance, lightness, and pure geometry. Designed by BMB Progetti, this elegant lighting system was conceived to create the illusion of weightlessness—a lamp that appears to float effortlessly on a cable. Its defining feature is the interplay of intersecting lines, forming a minimalist yet striking composition. The structure itself is a dialogue between form and function: a slender aluminum tubular LED strip serves as the light source, while a second, even thinner aluminum tube acts as the support, enhancing the sense of delicacy and precision.
More than just a lighting fixture, Petit is an expression of refined simplicity. The light runs the entire length of the fixture, casting a perfectly even glow along a desk or dining table, eliminating shadows and creating a seamless visual experience. Its clean architectural presence makes it a natural fit for contemporary interiors, where design and illumination merge into a single, harmonious statement.
