This sweet childs «high» chair from the end of the 19th century is inspired from the French style of the 18th century. The combination of canework and height result in this model fulfilling her purpose with a touching charm. It is a beautiful piece, very rare and «well off the beaten track» of decorative furniture.
Louis XV Style The French style period from approximately 1730 to 1770, although this king was on the throne from 1715 (the Regence period ran from 1715 to 1723) until 1774. Inspiration taken from plants, hence a curvilinear style.
